The Lodge at Weir’s Beach is located in tranquil Metchosin, about 45 minutes from downtown Victoria. It’s easy to get to, yet far enough to feel like you’re away. Plus, no ferries to catch or Malahat traffic to navigate!

The sandy beach in front of the lodge will amaze you, as will the views to Victoria and Mt. Baker. You’ll be practicing yoga in an ocean-view studio.

The Lodge at Weir’s Beach has six spacious guest rooms that can be configured with single or king beds, for double and triple accommodation. The owner, who is a yoga instructor herself, has thoughtfully decorated and equipped the lodge with comfort and luxury in mind.

We believe that great food is an important and memorable part of any retreat. Nourish your body with delicious food incorporating local ingredients. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options will be available, along with some special treats!

Learn from an Inspiring Teacher

Melissa is an award-winning yoga teacher and certified personal trainer with a devoted following from her classes at Oak Bay Rec and Moksana. Her signature class, Yoga4Strength™, combines strength training and yoga, offering the best of both disciplines in a safe, comfortable format. Melissa has an ongoing segment called 'Serenity and Strength’ aired weekly on CHEK TV’s Island 30 program.

Melissa takes a personalized approach to her teaching. She ensures that participants are working within their range, and is always ready with modifications and friendly words of encouragement. Melissa’s goal is to improve participants’ core strength, flexibility and balance.




Pricing and Registration Details


Your retreat fee includes
  • Four yoga classes, including restorative, Yoga4Strength™ and hatha/flow
  • Six gourmet meals
  • 2 nights deluxe shared accommodation (most rooms have en-suite bathrooms)

    Note: We regret that due to room configurations, no single accommodation is available
Fees

Shared Accommodation: $450 per person / $850 per couple

Reservations

Reserve a space now by sending an email to info@salutelifestyle.ca with your name and contact information. We will send you a registration form and further details. Payment in full must be received in order to confirm your space (cheque or money order only.)

Cancellation policy: An administrative fee of $50 will be deducted from your refund before April 21st, 2010. After April 21, 2010, the fee is non-refundable.

6 pm – Welcome Dinner
8:00-9:30 pm – Restorative yoga

Saturday, May 22nd
Breakfast: self serve between 7:30 and 9
9:30-11:00 am – Yoga4Strength™
12:00 – Lunch

Afternoon: Free for exploring, wandering, relaxing in the hot tub (Great walks/biking available nearby: Devonian Beach, Matheson Lake, East Sooke Park, Galloping Goose)

4:30-6:00 pm – Hatha/Flow yoga
6:30 pm – Dinner

Sunday, May 23rd
Breakfast: self serve between 7:30 and 8:30
9:00-10:30 am – Yoga4Strength™
11:00 am – Brunch
1:00 pm – Check out
